At Island Temporary Nursing, our best assets are our employees. We see our employees' happiness and satisfaction as a priority. Island Temporary Nursing continuously seeks to develop new ways and programs that would enhance our employees' skills as well as provide them with extra income opportunities. As such, we are pleased to introduce to all our employees' the following programs:
Employee Referral Program
As an ITN employee if you now someone who would be a good addition to our team, encourage him or her to apply. You will be eligible to receive a $50 cash reward, if your referred candidate is hired and is able to work a minimum of 20 hours in a workweek for 4 consecutive weeks.
Program Rules:
- All ITN employees are eligible candidates for the program.
- Former employees of ITN are not eligible candidates for the program.
- Your candidate must bring your referral card on the day of application. Referral cards are available at the ITN office.
- The first employee to refer a candidate will be the only employee eligible to receive a reward.
- Referred candidates must work a minimum of 20 hours in a work week for 4 consecutive weeks for the employee to be eligible to receive a reward.
- To be eligible to recieve the reward, the employee must still be employed with ITN when the hired candidate meets the 20 hours per workweek for 4 consecutive weeks requirement.
There is no limit as to how many candidates you want to refer. The more candidates you refer, the more chances you have of recieving rewards. So, hurry! Introduce your friends to the joy of being part of the ITN family.

Client Referral Program
While most people receive care from family, friends, and their community, we at Island Temporary Nursing recognize that these options are not always available and practical. As such,
we offer well-trained staff that can provide specialized services to cater to the needs of people in the comfort of their homes.
If you know someone, a family member or a friend, who needs home care services, refer them to Island Temporary Nursing. You will be eligible to receive a $50 cash reward, if your referred client uses our services for a minimum of forty (40) hours in a period of thirty (30) days.
Program Rules:
- All Island Temporary Nursing employees are eligible to refer candidates.
- Former clients of Island Temporary Nursing are not eligible candidates for the program.
- Your referral must bring your referral card and attach iton the Information Sheet for Private Care Client.
- The first employee to refer a client will be the only employee eligible to receive a reward.
- All clients will be assessed for type of care provided following Island Temporary Nursing policies and procedures.
- The client should use Island Temporary Nursing services for a minimum of forty (40) hours in a period of thirty (30) days.
- To be eligible to receive the reward, the employee must still be employed with Island Temporary Nursing when the client meets the forty (40) hours in a thirty (30)-day period of services.
- The referral reward will be paid within fifteen (15) days after the clients 40th hour of receiving services from Island Temporary Nursing.
There is no limit as to how many clients you want to refer. The more clients you refer, the more
chances you have of receiving rewards.
In-Service Training
It is policy of Island Temporary Nursing to promote continuous learning among its employees to ensure our preparedness and ability to provide a high quality of care for our clients.
In-service Training Schedule:
In-service trainings are held four times a year and are scheduled every first Friday of the following monthes:
- February
- May
- August
- November
Each session is 4 hours long with 4 different topics presented. In-service trainings will be held at the ITN office.
The In-service training program is free to all employees of Island Temporary Nursing and will be conducted either by a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
