Personal Assistants
Duties:
- Obtain basic measures including blood pressure, respiration, pulse, height, weight, and intake and output from stable clients
- Provide basic physical care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist client in transporting to chair, bed, commode, and/or wheelchair
- Assist in general household chores
- Provide nutritional support
- Assist in bath, grooming and dental hygiene
- Provide bladder and bowel assistance
- Provide community access assistance
- Assist with self-administered medication
Qualifications:
- Must have current CPR & First Aid
- Must have current TB clearance and immunization records
- Must have at least 6 months experience
- Must be able to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally
- Requires sitting, standing, some bending and stooping associated with a home care client
