Beginning care with Island Temporary Nursing is straightforward. Our coordinators guide you through each step and are available by phone Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Step 1 — Initial Inquiry
Call or email our office with any questions. We are happy to walk you through our services, answer your concerns, and send you an information pamphlet in English or Japanese at no charge.

Step 2 — Service Forms
Once you are ready to move forward, we will send you the required service intake forms by mail, email, or fax — whichever is most convenient. Please complete and return them to our office.

Step 3 — Medical Records Authorization
Clients complete a Hawaii HIPAA Authorization for Release of Information form and provide it to their physician. This allows our nursing team to review medical history and design an appropriate care plan. Please forward the completed medical report to our office.

Step 4 — In-Home Assessment
An ITN Registered Nurse, Social Worker, or Care Coordinator visits the client's home to conduct a thorough care assessment. Based on this visit, the appropriate care plan and service level are determined.
Note: A fee applies for the in-home assessment.

Step 5 — Care Services Begin
ITN matches the client with caregivers who best fit their schedule, care needs, and personal preferences. Once the match is confirmed, care begins in the client's home.
Our coordinators remain available throughout the care relationship. Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns at any time.
